
Chharanagar Library
There are over 5000 books in English, Hindi and Gujarati. The library also works as an education centre for the youth and children to get guidance and councelling in connection to the education. The librarian Ketki Batunge takes care of all operations.
Children's Theatre
The school going kids from the marginalized DNTs participate in various theatre workshops and performs at various platform. The children’s theatre group helps in developing the personality, identifying the discrimination, and countering it. The children’s theatre activity is among the key activity of Budhan Theatre.

Vimukta Trust works to help the DNTs in Gujarat and sometimes outside as well to fight for their survival. DNTs are often in conflict with the law, mainly due to the stigma of criminal tribes act. Vimukta Trust works closely with the DNTs, especillay Chhara community, in order to help them in their fight for justice.
The soldiers – Harivansh Gumane, Chetna Rathod, Sahil Bangali, Haresh Macchrekar, Monika Ghasi.
Entitlements
DNTs are among the last people to become the beneficiaries of any government schemes. A large population still stuggles to get basic documentation like Ration Card of Aadhar Card. Vimukta Trust conduct several workshop to identify the people in need of entitlements and help them reach government schmes to these people.
The soldiers – Sandip Indrekar, Sonu Bangali, Shyam Sansi, and Chitra Bairagibava.


Women's Empowerment
There are instances when the women from Chhara tribe would want to opt for alternate income, other than the traditional occupation of brewing and selling illicit liquor in the dry state of Gujarat. There are instances when the women are in conflict with the government mainly due to lack of opportunities of alternate income. Vimukta Trust help fill this gap by providing training, giving them alternate livelihood options.
